I was bored after Diadem Peak. It rained most of the afternoon, but in evening, it stopped and I decided to go out to find something to take pictures around bivy site. Turned out this little hike to this small ridge was one of the finest hike I’d ever had. Unfortunately I wasn’t carrying my GPS, so the map is roughly where I went. However it’s super easy to figure out route so don’t worry about route finding. Besides there were cairns too. GPS track attached this one is actually for Diadem Peak, not for this ridge. You can use it to get to the bivy site then find your way.

Because it was so nice I recommend this ridge even for a day hiking not just the people who come here for the 11,000ers and looking for little extra to do.

When we came back from Diadem, it started rain. After hours laying down inside tent, finally rain went away. So I took advantage of it and went for a short hike before sunset.

3 peaks; Woolley, Diadem, and Mushroom. It is a quite big moraine.

Unnamed peak. It's really shame this one doesn't have name!

I wonder why such a nice hiking route is not covered in books… Maybe something to do with fording a creek.
