Grotto Mountain

Grotto locates about 20km north of Mt. Kidd where I hiked last week. Still little smoky but another beautiful day.

Canmore, little town but just like Banff, this town is a nice resort. By the way Banff is only like 20 mins away I believe.

After an unusually long and boring forest hike, I finally came out of clear wide open space.

The rocky part of this mountain was easy especially from here. It was easy easy hill hike to the peak. Feels nice after constant steep hill hiking in earlier.

Here is Canmore again. My company's development team leader lives here. I can see you Fred. What are you doing? Why are you hammering neighbor's car? Are you mad because your mail some times redirected to junk folder, is that why?

Like I said this mountain is only 20km away from Mt. Kidd, but characteristic of this mountain was totally different. A lot of soil rather than rocks. Solid ground and solid rocks. Variety of rock colors.

Lesson learned, I brought lunch this time, so I wouldn't suffer from hunger while hiking.
