Second day of backpacking trip to Flathead Range in Crowsnest Pass, and going for Chinook Peak. General direction is pretty simple. Straight up if you just look the topo map, but actually it's more confusing than that. At first, its ok, just go straight up, but as you go higher you will question "Where is the summit exactly?", because there are high points on left and right (pic 4). The answer is the right peak. Another problem is some route finding is required. Nearing summit, it gets more rockband-ish, rather than rubbles. I went zig-zag navigating these rockbands to get to the summit.

This is where I started to get confused where the summit is. Rollover mouse to see my route in red line. At the end of the scree, there is a weakness to go over the rockband, then proceed on ledges until the little hump where you can finally get on the ridge top to the summit. (Caution: This info is from my recorded video, but I don't remember the details to crosscheck now, so the red line might not be truly accurate.)
