My first peak in Glacier National Park in Montana was Wynn Mountain with Raff and Sonny. It's always exciting to go to mountains, but it is always extra exciting to go to a new place. However Glacier NP is so new to me, I don't have any information about this place.
Approach:
We took a trail which I don't remember what it called. After 6.2 km from the parking lot we came to the second bridge where a drainage was merging to the creek (page 5 and 6). This is where we went off-trail and started bushwhacking. Bushwhacking wasn't too bad but the slope was bit steep below treeline.
SW Ridge to the Summit:
From treeline, typical rubble scree started. Maneuvering some minor rockbands on the way up we reached the SW ridge. From there it was just hiking with great views all the way to the summit.
