I left very early. By the time I was driving in Kananaskis, the sun came up.
Because I was so early I saw 5 moose on the side of road here and there.
A little waterfall on the way. I'm sure when it's hot, this waterfall is a favorite spot for hikers.
I am not sure but I think this is an unnamed mountain.
It's fall and trees were turning into yellow.
It was close to 1 o'clock but the sun was only that high. Summer was certainly over.
This is the end of South Buller Pass. The lake is Ribbon Lake and the mountain on the right from the Lake is Mount Kidd. Looks different from this angle.
Looking at West, there was Mount Assiniboine, 3616m (11,864 ft). Seventh most prominent summits in the Rocky mountain. Looks so impressive and after this trip, Assiniboine became my favorite mountain.
Zoom out view of West. I think none of these mountains have name.
It was a nice day and nice hike. Seeing Mount Assiniboine was so exciting and that set a new goal for me.
