The most pretty Mud Lake I've ever seen.
I went with Alla, my roommate, to this hike. She was constantly checking vegetations. Russians!!
Alla walking towards Snow Peak.
Mount Smuts. Kane's book said one of the most difficult ascents in his book, but many assumes the most difficult.
Mount Birdwood on the right. If you think Smuts is not challenging enough for you, try this one. Even Nugara, the other author of scramble book, couldn't crack this beast.
Already at the summit. Assiniboine far behind.
There was a mountain goat. I took a great picture of him that even pro National Geography photographers will be jealous. Mouse over too see the perfect picture of mountain goat.
Group picture! Mount Sir Douglas. A disturbing fact that I thought Sir Douglas is the only 11,000ers in Kananaskis, but the actual summit is in BC which means Sir Douglas is NOT in Kananaskis…
Alla doing something. Rockies in BC. Snow Peak is on Continental Divide.
Burstall Pass from the high ground. Right side is in BC. These mountains are still The Royal Group I believe. The pretty lake is called Leman Lake.
Mount Assiniboine.
Alla's first scree run.
Is it only I who think chipmunks in parks are fat? Look at this guy. Chipmunk in 30 m away.
