  • Height: 2,310 m (7,579 ft)
  • Elevation Gain: 900 m (2,953 ft)
  • Distance: 3.7 km / One Way (2.3 mi)
  • Avg Steepness: 13.7°
  • Estimated Time: 2.5-3.5 hrs
  • Technicality: Advanced to Expert

I had peak bagging in my mind, but Ben invited me last minute and since I have been doing solo quite bit lately, I decided to join another not quite yoyo but more like yo skiing (did only one lap).

We went all the way up right at the treeline on SW slope of Vermillion Peak. Thus entire way down was skiing in trees and there wasn't much open spaces, but trees are nicely separated enough for skiing. It was comfortable.

Typical terrain. You need to be able to control skis here.

Ben told me someone found a bear hibernating around here. You might want to avoid skiing here this year.
