Pink line is the actual track I took which was recorded by my GPS. There should be a trail from Spary Lakes Day Use parking that I found out afterward. We pretty much bushwhacked from beginning.

Below treeline, terrain was rather gentle but maybe not too easy for snowshoeing though.
After two hours in bush we finally got out of tree… We only covered 2.5 km. Snow snow snow…
As soon as you are above the treeline, you will be welcomed by beautiful mountain view.
I was thinking that Red Ridge is a smaller peak comparing near by mountains but still it is 2650 m high. Long way to go.
I think this sheep slept in and realized he's left out from his group. He was wandering the same place all day, we saw him on the way up and down.
There are 3 easy scramble spots if you choose to stay on top of ridge. This is the first one.
Another view of Sparrowhawk.
Final stretch.
Big cornices. I think we were so lucky that the weather was so warm and no wind that day. The best winter weather so far in 09 winter. Mark was hiking with T-shirt.
Another superb view.
360 from the peak. What a day and what a place to end 2009 season.
Scramble with Mark.
Frozen Spary Lakes.
The crux from our route. Still easy scramble.
