Red line is the actual track I took up to where I went which was recorded by my GPS. There was some jump in my location, the data is not accurate in some area.

Quartz Hill and Sunshine Meadows.
Even though it was already July the meadow wasn't quite green yet. Well this summer has been cold summer and maybe that something to do with it.
You have to park at the Sunshine Village ski parking area and either pay $25 for bus ride or hike up 500m elevation / 5km distance. I took my roommate Cornnie with me today and I was worried not taking bus maybe too hard for her.
At Quartz Ridge. This pass still continues to Citadel Pass and farther more, eventually reaches Mount Assiniboine.
Cornnie made it!!
While she was eating lunch at the pass, I left her and scrambled up Quartz Hill.
Great shot of Mt. Assiniboine P.P. and Kananaskis. Both Mount Assiniboine and Mount Sir Douglas in the same picture.
My favorite mountain Assiniboine. 3618m (11870ft) and 7th tallest mountain in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
Interesting shape. I couldn't figure out the name.
Still at the peak looking at NW.
Before leaving, had to take one more picture.
Rock Isle Lake, and there are two other lakes just behind, but Cornnie was too tired to go any farther.
