West Louise Lodge's parking was closed so we had to park our car at the entrance of the parking lot. This scramble had a long approach however most of it was flat. From the parking lot we followed Sherbrooke Lake trail all the way to the north end of Sherbrooke Lake. Despite the official trail ends there in the map still the good trail continued until right around Niles Meadows where we could see a steep slope coming up (page 3). After the slope it flattened again. We kept continue aiming a big pinnacle SW end of Mount Niles (page 3 & 6). Nearing unnamed peak SW of Niles and Niles col, which was about directly below the pinnacle, we decided to go up rubble slope (page 6). This slope pretty much went all the way up to the summit. Yeah this peak really doesn’t require much route-finding for sure. This peak is rated moderate in the book, but I felt this one can be rated easy rather. The view from the summit was spectacular and it was worth hiking such a long distance.

More place to sweat!! Ground was frozen and it made this steep terrain little hard to go up.

Unnamed peak. This peak looks similar to Redoubt in Skoki. But I rather nickname this one "Iron peak".

Higher I went my heart pumped faster because I couldn't wait to see Wapta Icefield and Daly Glacier… Then after I came home looking at map I realized it's not Wapta… It's Waputik Icefield… lol

Yoho Valley. I can't believe that lake doesn't have name. It should be like Takakkaw Lake or something since it feeds Takakkaw Falls.
