Accourding to a website, Mount Kidd is one of the most popular peaks in the Kananaskis area. It height is 2958m (9705ft). It is more like a huge wall than a mountain that I found in the hard way by hiking. The website suggested to hike from south but I chose to go from east. That was my first mistake.

A lovely day. The Play ground at Kananaskis Village was simply green.

Took a while to find a way to hike up, and it was super loose and steep hill. Loose hill is hard to hike, but it is fun to run when going down.

I know many peeps here hike alone just like me, but still not too many people do that. Have you? It is incredible feeling to be alone in the wild especially a place like here in Rockies.

That was where I was trying to go, but after seeing this, I thought "…I definitely should have follow the route that website suggested." So I decided to go back. I didn't have another 6 hours to hike.

This hill looks more like European alpines than Rocky Mountains.

"Country road take me home to the place I belong" except this is not a country road and I seriously thought I will die here for hunger. I was struggling. I haven't eaten a meal since yesterday's lunch, and I was dumb enough to only bring 2 oranges with me.
