Bear eating his meal. Did you know bear's diat is 75%-90% vegitables?
It's September and winter is just around the corner.
Kirsten and Aga coming up.
We had mix of blowing snow and sunny periods. I had a chance to take a picure of the peak, false peak, and Ali at the hump.
Cascade's ridge. It's a long approch to Cascade Mountain and a long approch to the peak.

Coming down from the hump. We went on the top of the hump but actually the trail goes around. Because trail was snow covered, we missed the turn.
It had been a while since I hiked with Kevin. He was on vacation.
Ohhhaaha. Where am I?
Expectedly, as we went higher the weather got nastier.
Going around the false peak. Banff town below.
Kirsten peeking the peak.
Wind was probabry something like 30 to 50 km. Show was blowing and hitting my face hard.
Aga, going over a narrow rock. The false peak behind.
Let make a haste to the peak because it's cold.
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way!
The summit is right there. At this alutitude, the rocks were covered by snow and ice.

We find a very very very very nice wind shelter at the summit. From left, Aga, Kevin, Kirsten, and the Man.

Going back. The last snapshot of hike on a cold day.
As we decsent, the weather improved little. Interesting cloud formed near us.
Represents how this day was. Maybe sunny, maybe cloudy, or maybe snow.
Well it was my second time at Cascade. The last time I came here, I walked from a hotel in Banff. Man…I was young back then.
