Above stats is to Mount Carthew and go back the same way. For entire trip to Alderson Lake and back to Cameron Lake, it would be 1600 m ele gain / 26.5 km dist.
Well this was supposed to be a traverse, but the driver of the destination car, … ME!!, decided to leave car key inside the other car, so I had to go back. (*´ε｀ *) Anyway we parked one car at Cameron Lake parking and the other car which never was used at Cameron Falls in Waterton town. Entire route is pretty much hiking and trail is well established, so I don’t think I need much route description for this one.
Note: If you don’t know about Waterton, my suggestion is be prepared for strong wind. This place is known for it.

At Cameron Lake. I have been in Waterton 6 times previously but this was the first time to come here in summer! All other trips were all in winter white which is funny because people like this place for color.

At Carthew Summit… who named this place summit when it's not a summit? Must be someone like Ali whose first language is not English. Ali thought crux is the same thing as chimney… Oops I shouldn't making fun of him on this because I do make these mistake too! Mount Carthew on the left, Mount Alderson on the right.

Last summer I missed lakes. For some reason, I didn't get to go lakes. But this year I have been many lakes on the way to peaks. Nice!!

Summit being so cold and windy, we decided to take a lunch break here. I can't wait winter when we don't even want to take any break.
