Both scramble books cover Mount Bogart, but everyone says Andrew's route is better and enjoyable, so I followed the route from his book. Anytime I come across grassy alpine land I get so excited. I think it's so pretty. I wished I went there little earlier in the season when grass was still green. But above all of the goodness of this peak, I have discovered something very very special. You have to see it in pictures. Go to page 13!
Approach:
Starting from Sparrowhawk parking, follow Sparrowhawk Creek Trail. Then walk walk walk all the way to tarns.
To Col:
Leaving the tarns behind, you should be able to see a massive scree slop heading to col (page 6). This is where you can show off your scrambler pride! Slog slog slog...
West Ridge:
There was a rock band blocking the ridge. I went right of it (easier route) as described in the book.

Now you can see the whole thing very well. This is the greatest discovery of the Canadian Rockies! Ladies and dicks, this is the Rockies' BUTTCRACK and BUTTHOLE! Most excellent!
