Sunrise at Grassi Lake. As daylight shortens, our start becomes earlier.
I was accompanied by Andrea, Shaun, and Wil.

Walking on snow covered rubble is difficult and so easy to twist ankle or hit knee.
Little Lougheed is just West of Mount Lougheed peak 2, the true summit. If you were to hike to peak 2, I think the trail is down there somewhere. I know when I did 3 peak traverse, we came down there walking beside Mount Sparrowhark.
It was wired that we thought the peak was so close when we saw it from the road, but when we were below treeline, it didn't seem we gained much distance to the summit. The summit seemed far away. Only 10 min after that we came above treeline and the summit was right there.
Shaun and Wil coming up the last terrain. Spray Lake behind.

Seeing Spray Lakes from high ground around here is quite amazing.
For the first time in last seven scrambles, it was not cold and windy!! We actually had a lunch break at the summit.
I failed to knock everyone down.

I was hoping I can get down to a col between here and peak 2 then descent south to Spencer Creek but there was a rock band.

Let's go back.
We had a whole day of sunny and pleasant weather.
For some reason Andrea took the high road and Wil at bottom.

I was so lucky that when that big rock fell down on me, I was protected by these 2 rocks at the bottom. Otherwise I would have been a pancake.
