Famous hike near Canmore. I was wondering why so many cars parked on the side of highway 1 all the time. These people were hiking this one.

Kevin told me this is a very short but a lot of scrambles. Yup it was. I enjoyed this place a lot. I think it only took me 1 hour or so with a lot of scrambles.

However I wasn't done just yet. I also did Heart mountain circuit which is a ridge walking from Heart mountain to Grant MacEwan Peak then come down. I am at Grant MacEwan Peak in the picture with the twin towers on the back.

This long long ridge goes to the twin towers and then eventually get Mount Lorette and Mount McGilivray. You can't see Mt. Morette but Mt. McGilivray is what you are seeing in the right half of the picture.

Now it's time to decent. I love ridge walk like this. Some ridges are sharp and difficult, this one is easy and present.
