It was horrible. Sun-baked snow surface was frozen and by putting my foot didn't penetrate. By shifting my weight on my foot broke the surface. It's so annoying as everyone knows. The other way was to push my foot down then shift my weight but that uses more muscle to keep going. Worse more, higher I went, deeper snow became.

After 1 hour I realized the highway was only 500 m away. So I gave up going around and traverse backside of Grizzly, instead I looked at possible front-face routes and took a chance. But another 30 more minutes, I realized the highway was only 700 m away. So I gave up for good.
