Next day I went to good old Fortress (not that I grew up skiing here but some of my buddies were). Because AST course uses Fortress nowadays they plowed snow from access road. We didn't have to break trail but on the other hand it was painful for skies. Once at the unused ski resort, we weren't sure if we could ski on open hill. I letted more experienced make judgment. We ended up skiing on open hill. Snow condition in terms of avalanche wasn't good (though I didn't see avalanches in this area unlike Chester) but in terms of skiing it was great.
