I didn't plan to come here. I was thinking to do a quick hike since rain was coming in afternoon, but when I got Kananaskis, I changed my mind because leaf was turning yellow. I thought Mount Allan might be a good spot to see them from higher ground.
Interesting clouds. The snow covered mountain is Fisher Peak I am guessing.
Ok, it wasn't as awesome as I thought it would be… Mount Kidd on the right.
Mount Allan is always my to do list. During the summer this mountain is full of green and looks very beautiful. I have to come back in summer.
The summit is on the right. Once I get to the upper part, it became easy ridge walking which I love.
Rollover to see mountain names.
I really thought this place is cool. That tall thin rock wall is as high as 5-floor building I guess. I personally call this path, the Dragon's back.
On the way to descend, I met these folks. They said they were going to do traverse of Centennial Ridge instead of going back like I was. They said there was one more person can fit in a car, so I joined them.
Snowy side is Mount Allan.
Felt like I was in the world of Load of the Ring. Mr. Frodo? Wait Mr. Frodo! Wait for me!!
As expected, light shower hit us and ground got slippery but everyone still had fun.
I know these dudes. I saw in Planet Earth DVD. Emperor penguins.
