One year after Mount Victoria attempt in 2012, Shaun and I went back to Lake O'Hara for our 2nd attempt. However we decided to stop at Wiwaxy East Peak which was rather on our way to Abbot Hut.
The Crux:
I am hard time pronouncing Wiwaxy.
To Wiwaxy Gap:
25 min of butt massage from sitting on bus to get to Lake O'Hara Lodge then followed Wiwaxy Gap Alpine Route. As you can expect from O'Hara, it was very scenic, but I didn't see any bikini girls... such disappointment.
To the Summit:
From Gap, it was quite short and quick but needed good route-finding. There was a good trail from Gap for little while until reaching to more challenging terrain then the trail was gone. We scrambled up south slope until it hit wall (page 6). So we had no choice but to traverse below the wall all the way to the other side of the peak, west aspect (page 7) where we found a weakness which I still rate difficult scrambling (page 8). The summit was right after this crux.

I took this picture because this picture was important, but unfortunately writing trip report over 1 year later, I forgot why this picture was important…

The summit view. View around here is quite magical even without bikini girls.

Lefroy. No surprise at this late season, ice all over the peak.
