The end of the day.
Visiting the kids in Crowsnest Pass.
I hate Apple… I hate Apple… I hate Apple, but I couldn't resist… I'm weak!!
As often as I scramble, and the way I scree run, boots don't last a year. My new boots, the same boots I have.
On the way to Jasper. In evening, the glacier looked so white and clear. Mount Athabasca and Silverhorn.
At Columbia Icefield Centre.
Mount Andromeda.
Still at Columbia Icefield. How can a car go over the fence at 50 km/h zone? The driver must have driving 50 mph. After all that's American number plate.
Athabasca River. What appears to be a small peak is actually Mount Fryatt. Mouseover.
I could not resist…
The medical clinic in Lake Louise, I found this… THIS!! I wish this comes with a video too.
Last year I had to buy winter stuff. This year I decided to buy camping stuff. I love this pot. It can hold everything in the picture. Good stuff for backpacking.
Coming back from Mount Galatea.
Early start at 6:30 am, I came back to town before 2:00 pm from Cougar Mountain. I had a lunch at Shouldice Arena.
After having my Gore-Tex jacket and pants for last 13 years, I realized these aren't waterproof any longer. So I bought the new pair. Of course MEC brand!!
Gillean Daffern's KC trail guide 4th edition. There will be total of 5 books this time. She's getting greedy. A new copy of old edition used to cost $202 on Amazon.ca. I wonder how much it is now.
Finally at the end of July, summer have come to the Rockies.
