I looked around if I could get down and go towards Skogan, but I couldn't find any path. It was too cliffy. Does anyone know it can be done?

Good question, So, not sure but it would be worth carrying rope and harness, a few slings, nuts etc in case there is some exposed access or you get stranded and can't turn back the same way. For such a close proximity to Calgary it would be worth the effort, perhaps even getting in Heart Creek on the return, or with a shuttle car left on Hwy 40. The good thing is, once you get at the tree line, it should'nt be a problem to descent. It still looks very tricky with avalanche gullies and slabs, but it may be avoidable, who knows? I'll go give it a try soon, I hope.

Mary Barclay looks doable, if you bushwhack from along the creek all the way to the pine covered route to the ridge (on the right). With a bicycle left near the Stoney Trail, car parked at Barrier Dam Day Use, this ridge could be reached, and perhaps on the right even Skogan Peak further. It's in my future prospects.
