Homeless everywhere in my city Calgary, even in the airport.

After 8 hours and 2 hours of flights, I finally arrived in Berlin, Germany. I had a good German friend who I met in college. I wonder what she's up to nowadays.

This is a Stella's old neighbour/boyfriend who lives in Germany for last 27 years or so if I remember correctly. He came to pick us up at the Berlin airport. He was also kind enough to give us ride to Poland too.

I don't know why Stella brought her retarded son Trace to Poland. Anyhow, we grabbed 2 full size chicken for only 5 euro, and it was really really delicious. Wasn't like the 20 euro burger that I ate at London airport. That burger was so horrible and it cost 20 euro!! For 3 of us that restaurant charged us 50 euro which is about $70 CAN. London 50 euro horrible burgers < Germany 5 euro for 2 chickens. I like Germany better.

Not that I am not used to live in a place with old buildings. Japan is old country too, but according to Stella's translation, these building are all 1000 years old. Liar! How can I believe these apartments which there are so many graffiti all over the first floor can be 1000 years old. It is not like historical buildings which governments spends billions of money.

This is a remain of the Berlin Wall. I also bought a piece of wall for souvenir.

I don't know about other part of Europe, but I found graffiti is a real problem in Germany and Poland. This is an example of what all builds look like.

After safely passed the border, we arrived in Gorzow, Poland where Stella grew up. I was hoping that my retarded brother would get rejected at the boarder but that didn’t happen.

The source of all troubles. I know you cannot speak Polish but please stop pointing at your penis when you need to go to pee.

The house of Vodka. Once you step in this house, and if you are drinker, you have to drink vodka until you require to take Chinese medicine, or if you are not drinker then you have to deal with drink guy keep hugging you and kissing you for 300 times. Very dangerous place. My traveler's guild book didn't say anything about this.

For some reason, Valdek was very nice to me and he wanted me to feel his house as my house, but to Trace, he wanted to fight him. "Fight to the end!!"

View from Valdek's apartments. This really reminded me of my old apartments where I used to live when I was very little.

We visited Stella's old house. Surprisingly we met the old neighbours who still live here after more than 30 years later. For some reason, all 3 women's hair were purple. According to Trace it is the water they drink.

This city is 750 years old, but I still don't think this building is even close to 300 years old. 1000 years old apartments you are right.

Old church in Centrium (which means probably like downtown). Now this is probably 750 years old and that I can believe.

Later on the same day, Stella's other brother Mitek visited. Visited? No he came to drink vodka of course.

18

Polska 1 | 2007-06-05

Yet Stella's another brother Czesike's had something like 11 dogs. And of course vodka.

Another day of drinking vodka. They drink, eat and sing all day long. I'm not kidding, all day long… The one with blue shirt is Czesiek and his right is Teresa, his wife.
